About the Program
During this time of increasing consumer bankruptcies, Suite Solutions is pleased to be able to help 18 hard-working students whose higher education aspirations are in jeopardy due to a family financial hardship. Our new Suite Solutions Scholarship Program is specifically for families that have undergone a bankruptcy in California and may be struggling to begin, or continue, financial support for their child in college. Our scholarships are designed to assist deserving college students, whether incoming freshman or continuing undergraduates, by paying for school expenses and thereby helping reduce the financial stress on their families.

If your family's consumer bankruptcy attorney has nominated you as a potential candidate for the Suite Solutions Scholarship Program, and you fit the criteria listed below, please submit your completed application, essay of 400 words or less, proof of enrollment, and a copy of your school transcripts to Suite Solutions by August 10, 2009.

Candidate Criteria
Potential candidates must be:

• nominated by a consumer bankruptcy attorney who was invited to participate by Suite Solutions
• a child whose parent(s) have filed for consumer bankruptcy in California
• a California resident
• a high school senior graduating in the spring of 2009 or current undergraduate college student enrolled for the upcoming fall semester at a two-year or four-year accredited college.
• a student who participates in his/her school or community through academic achievement, extracurricular activities and/or community service.
